It's kind of weird
posting this from Peter's office.
with Peter about four feet away from me.

That's him! See?

I found myself writing a blog mostly in an attempt to stay connected to him
while he was 7,000 miles away in Greece,
and now 4,000 miles away in Delaware.
So it's kind of nice to be in the same place for a bit.

But here's a song anyways.
Just in case anyone else is out there :)
And since we're together,
this song seemed appropriate.

sorry about the weird album cover.

Happy Thanksgiving Folks!
(and Peter.)

I decided to start posting two songs a week, Peter
There's just WAY too much good music in the world,
old and new,
to fit in just one!

I love John Fogarty,
I've probably said that before, but it bears repeating.
That fellow can write a song.
For some reason this has been the one that's been stuck in my head lately (:

Have a great week!

I'll try to post from Delaware, but I can't make guarantees-
Peter and I might be having too much fun :D

I'm going to play with horses today!!

false. this is a gross exaggeration. But I'm so pumped that the fact that I will be shoveling their poo doesn't even phase me {can you tell I was a 90s horse girl? can I get a hellll yea??}

anyways. I've got to run, but here's a playlist I made when I was reading All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy. It's one of my favorite novels, mostly because of it's beautiful simplicity and adventurous plot, but also because it's about horses. I guess the 90s horse girl never dies....

Have a great week!

It's exam week again guys
and my practice scores are not looking pretty :(

Here's one of the many songs I listen to when I am stressed out.

Have a great week, and wish me luck!

As you can guess from the above photo,
I'm kind of into motorcycles these days....
I'm not sure if it's the living around Daytona Beach thing
{it's famous for being motorcycle-friendly}
or just the natural progression.
But I would love to ride one day,
maybe a honda or a {small} harley davidson
I'm not convinced I'm strong enough to maneuver one yet,
but I'd like to try!
I've always loved this quote by J.R.R. Tolkien. Doubt I'd have survived the teenage years
without having his books to escape into
A video of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison playing music in Plaka, Athens.
How cool, right?
Now, I'm not a fan of wasteful expenditures of the rich and famous
and this wedding pretty much takes the cake.
But I can't deny, it's a pretty gorgeous affair, and the fact that Ngila Dickson herself designed the costume
is pretty darn cool.

Habits of Happy People. I need to work on some of these,
though I've definitely got the music thing down :)

I can't remember what mine was, but I'm pretty pleased that Peter's was Georgia

Tolkien and the Battle of the Somme. I find these stories fascinating.

And, to start your weekend off right, a dash of cuteness:

Happy weekend! hope it's a good one :)

I gotta say, I've been missing my guy a lot lately.

I mean, can you blame me?
Look at him!
He's always smiling, and spreading the love.
He reminds me what's most important about life
and pushes me to be better
in the very best kind of way. :)

Anyways.
Enough rambling.
Excuse the moosh of this post,
but that should explain where it's coming from.

Miss you babe, can't wait to see you in 18 days!!
{but really, who's counting (;}
